Because the District of Columbia is not a state, the Clemency Board cannot grant clemency but it can recommend clemency to the President of the United States and the DOJ Pardon Attorney. |
The notice and agenda for the Clemency Board meeting held on 09/08/2023 was published in the DC Register. It is also linked here for your convenience.
The first forty-five minutes of the meeting was open to the public (10:30 am - 11:15 am) and the next thirty minutes was closed to the public (11:15 am - 11:45 am) pursuant to 1 DCMR 703.7(b).
